Wow this was pretty short! At least I was still able to buy it since the PlayStation Store for PS3 hasn’t been nuked yet.

Anyway, not much to say about this modest offering. As its title suggests, this little game is pirate themed and features encounters with Captains Slag and Darkwater, the previous of whom was an antagonist of Tools of Destruction. Talwyn is back providing assistance. The two begin their search for Darkwater, whom they have discovered is the only person who knows how to contact the Zoni, who SPOILER made off with Clank at the end of Tools of Destruction. They follow this lead only to discover that Darkwater has been dead for years (killed, in fact, at the hand of Slag). The quest then turns to finding his treasure, which will help locate Clank. I’ll avoid spoiling too much else other than to say that they succeed, setting up the story of A Crack in Time.

And that’s what I’ll be playing next! My review of Quest for Booty is that it’s a fine little chapter but also very much just a little episode and fairly skippable. With that, see you next GAME CLEAR.
