I’ll be blunt: this was a game I finally beat so I could uninstall it. It has a very brief story mode that was easy enough to play through, so I did. It’s a nonsensical fighting game story that I have nothing to say about. I bought this when it came out under the somewhat inexplicable delusion that I might actually lab it and play it with any frequency. I didn’t. I played it one time with a friend who also knows nothing about KOF and that’s it. It seems very polished and cool, though! But I ain’t got time for it.
