“Stages 1 & 5” - Naoki Kodaka & Noboyuki Hara

Batman on NES was an early example of licensed games done right (a tradition the same license would continue with the Arkham series). The soundtrack was as rock solid as the gameplay, and like so many games of its time, its Stage 1 theme strikes me as its most famous piece. Only the truly dedicated will experience the soundtrack in its entirety, as this game 100% earns the designation of Nintendo Hard. As with Gate of Thunder yesterday, this game is on my to-do list, but I’ve not yet finished it. Hopefully some day!
