If there’s a better credits theme, I haven’t heard it. “Kimi no Kioku” from Persona 3 is damn good, but I already did a Persona 3 song, and I think this one’s probably a little bit better anyway. I think the accompanying ending cinematic is part of what seals it. The way all the various Mario enemies are “credited” in the ending sequence is just such good old school gaming stuff. The fact that Super Mario World is my second favorite game of all time doesn’t hurt either. Tugs at my heartstrings, this piece does. One of the cutest games ever made.

Anyway, that does it for this challenge! I’m mostly happy with the list I’ve assembled, but I’ve got some honorable mentions and whatnot as well. Not sure if the wrap up post will come tomorrow or a little later, but I’ll definitely do something. To anyone who read even one of these, I surely appreciate you indulging me.
